BRAVA. Maybe we disagree in some points - but all the better for that thinking dialogue that makes a clearing for common ground. BALA? sometimes a bump and grind - sometimes a mosh pit- a tango- a circle dance. May the actual violence always be metaphorical.
Yeah, I was wondering about that word. Reading it again, I guess I would have used something like hostility—a level of anger and aggression. I haven’t read it yet, but I think it’s something along the lines of The Feminist Killjoy by Sara Ahmed. What I mean is that I’m very suspicious of people who claim to be fighting for an unpopular cause (say feminism—though almost any cause is unpopular because people don’t like change) and yet always seem to have some form of power or are constantly at the center of things, always featured in mainstream media. You need to be far too polite and conservative in order to gather power.
HAA true! I say resistance to the vacuum of the center is the power to be the most stubborn “chooch” in the southern - but also the northern sense! Hostility and all radiates from — IS THAT center! And you know- when the chooch means business - its only natural for her to give a good kick.
